The Chiaroscuro Collection is inspired by the work of Caravaggio, specifically his use of chiaroscuro to evoke darkness and light. Console 001 also reflects our love of the oeuvre of Lina Iris Viktor, another all-time favorite whose art we love for its mystery, power and sense of spiritual quest. The modern lines and use of geometry are a tip of the hat to master architect Louis Kahn.
Materials: White oak, ebony stain, wax.
Chiaroscuro Table 001 was milled, assembled, stained and waxed by hand in Seattle, WA.
